The brief
Eppendorf got in touch with us regarding an Innovation Centre in Maldon. We were tasked to design the centre, with a focus on helping local businesses, and creating a mixed-use centre with offices, boardrooms, meeting rooms and much more.

The results
We passed on our design brief to Eppendorf. It contained the use of wood panelling to create the warm atmosphere we were looking for. However, we also left sections of the ceiling exposed to create a slightly raw feel, giving the centre’s users a sense of busyness and industry as they careen through the corridors to make it to meetings.
