Project details

FINC was commissioned by Griggs Homes to develop a full planning application for 186 affordable homes in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The scheme, located within the green belt, included a mix of flatblocks and bungalows, a community building with flexible hall space, and an integrated allotment strategy. Tasked with producing the application from a standing start and without a site layout, our team delivered a complete submission in just seven weeks.

The proposal was unanimously approved by Hertsmere Borough Council and hailed as a ‘Blue Ribband’ site, setting a benchmark for ‘Grey Belt’ development. FINC is now delivering the detailed design in partnership with Hill Partnership.
