FINC was appointed to provide architectural and landscape design services for New Place Farm in Pulborough, a former garden nursery set within a rural, tree-lined site. The brief called for a sensitive masterplan and full planning application for 160 homes, alongside landscape proposals for approximately 170 dwellings as part of a reserved matters submission. Key objectives included preserving existing natural features, enhancing ecological value, and creating accessible open spaces for both new residents and the wider community.

We delivered a masterplan that responds to the site’s sloping topography and rural context, integrating green corridors and open spaces throughout. Our reserved matters work included detailed landscape design, hard and soft landscaping, and a landscape masterplan featuring community amenities such as a new pump track. The application is currently under review by Horsham District Council.
