Planning Approved – Summerhill

We are delighted to announce that our planning application for 231 homes at Ersham Road, Summerhill for Vistry Homes was approved by @WealdenDistrictCouncil at the recent planning committee meeting last week.

The proposals include 81 affordable homes, 138 private homes and 12 self-build homes, designed to meet the Nationally Described Space Standards (NDSS).

The layout retains and enhances the existing landscape features, combining these with natural attenuation and play spaces to create a truly landscape-led proposal.  The quality of open space and inter-connected landscaping is further enhanced with the retention and addition of boundary landscaping across the site.

Bespoke apartment buildings and defined character areas drive the overall quality of the proposals further.

FINC Architects worked closely with our friends at Vistry, CSA environmental, Ardent and ECE Planning to deliver this expertly coordinated, high-quality application.

Our extensive experience working with the team at Wealden District Council certainly helped get this challenging project over the line.

The site will deliver much needed quality homes, set within a beautifully landscaped site, delivering on the previous Outline Consent established. We are very much looking forward to seeing this project delivered.
