FINC Architects are an award winning multi-disciplined architectural practice in delivering large scale residential and development projects and are looking to employ multiple professionals in Chelmsford.

The role will focus on growing the FINC HQ region to deliver planning & technical projects for residential led schemes across the country.

Key skills should include.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in degree in architecture or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of experience within an Architects practice, with the most recent experience focused on the delivery of large scale residential and master planning schemes.
  • Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering housing projects in the UK for national housebuilders, land promoters and regional developers to obtain allocations and planning consents.
  • Experience working with local planning authorities and clients in the South and East of England.
  • Equivalent qualifications in Architectural technology.
  • Experience working in a practice specializing in residential schemes.
  • Creative outlook with a strong portfolio showcasing their talents.
  • Strong AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe creative suite ability.
  • A collaborative approach, supporting the team on various tasks.
  • Working on housing / residential projects of varying scales.
  • Comprehending the information given by clients and applying this to the overall concept.
  • Producing planning packs for submission, understanding visual layouts and appreciate the use of annotation to communicate aesthetic intent.
  • A working knowledge of building regulations and planning legislation.

The role will offer the candidate a working arrangement of 4-days in the Chelmsford office and 1-day working from home, with a package to include:

FINC Architects are an award winning multi-disciplined architectural practice in delivering large scale residential and development projects and are looking to employ an Associate / Senior Architect to join the Southern region in Guildford.

The role will focus on growing the Southern FINC region to deliver planning projects for residential led schemes across the south and east of England.

Core responsibilities will include.

  • The creation of new business from existing and new clients and grow the FINC brand.
  • Overseeing the delivery of projects from the Southern region.
  • Assisting with fee forecasting, fee proposals, budgeting and programming of projects.
  • Take responsibility for the maintaining and structuring of the Southern CAD system.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in degree in architecture or a closely related field.
  • 8+ years of experience within an Architects practice, with the most recent experience focused on the delivery of large scale residential and master planning schemes.
  • Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering housing projects in the UK for national housebuilders, land promoters and regional developers to obtain allocations and planning consents.
  • Experience working with local planning authorities and clients in the South and East of England.
