FISH is a big Arsenal fan and regularly goes to matches. Alongside his love for football, he is a big foodie as he loves to cook and dine out in highly recommended restaurants. But his real food love is chicken wings - so you see him at Wing Fest quite a lot!

Managing Director (FINC Southern)Rob has extensive experience of the delivery of residential lead projects, having spent the last 12 years working for national house-builders and land promoters on large-scale residential projects. With a land & planning background, extensive network of industry contacts and commercial knowledge, Rob is expertly placed to lead the delivery of masterplans, planning applications and working drawings. His appointment will add experience and knowledge to the businesses delivery of residential projects, whilst helping the expansion into new sectors and services.
Rob is excellent at networking and is always open to meet new people. He is a Manchester United fan and often recalls the best years under the Sir Alex era.
Garry Batt
Operations DirectorGarry Batt
Operations DirectorGarry’s role will be hybrid in nature, with half of his role dedicated to business operations, including driving efficiency/quality into all of our teams and affecting a seamless integration of our Landscape Services into the office. In addition to this role, Garry also works within the planning team on the delivery of design projects.
Garry loves snowboarding, playing guitar, gaming, drones and photography.

Design Director (HQ)Yang has a reputation for exceptional design ability, within the confines of the client’s budget and timescales. You will often find Yang at the drawing board, producing beautiful hand-drawn perspectives or overseeing the quality of designs within the planning team.
John Markwell

Landscape Director (FINC Southern)John joins FINC as our new landscape director with over 15 years’ experience preparing and overseeing deliverables for a diverse array of projects ranging from site promotion, strategic landscape planning and landscape-led masterplanning for residential schemes to the delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects. John has a wide skill set including LVIA appraisal and assessment, concept and detailed design and site-based implementation. John likes to keep fit and is a keen mountain biker. He also coaches rugby for his son’s local juniors team and keeps a collection of bonsai trees.

Design Director (Southern)Steve is very much a front-end designer, and spend most of his working day assessing sites, through feasibility studies and layouts. His intention is to always create places and spaces that are vibrant, whilst being mindful of commercial value for our clients. Steve is a big Rugby Union follower along with Formula 1 and supporting his beloved West Ham.

Associate Architect (FINC Southern)Chris has been in practice for over 24 years gaining experience planning, designing and implementing exceptional architectural designs across the South of England.
Joining us as an Associate and specialising in residential design, he has managed a variety of projects from small private extensions, through to multi-unit flat & housing schemes and high net-worth luxury high end residential developments.
He is well known for having a love for the great outdoors, often found hiking over mountains, setting up camp under the stars or embarking on road trips with his wife & two daughters. Chris also helps to run a family charity that supports both education and medical projects in the Gambia, and using his knowledge of construction is assisting with the development and restoration of new school and medical facilities. Chris is also an Arsenal fan.

Senior Urban DesignerLina is a Senior Urban Designer with extensive experience delivering masterplans, feasibility layouts and planning applications for land promoters, housing developers and contractors. Her experience comes from a large multi-disciplinary practices working in both rural and urban environments.
Lina is a dedicated mum who often enjoys weekends away with her family. Interests include fashion, food and dogs... well just one and that's her beloved rescue dog Kevin!
Mark Handley

Technical DirectorMark has worked in the industry for 30 years, producing technical drawings for complex developments across the country. His projects include high-end dwellings to high-rise apartments and everything in-between. You can usually find Mark sketching the solutions to complex details in his note book.
Mark loves Music, art and fashion exhibitions and often visits galleries around the world. He is also a long standing Manchester United Supporter.
Peter Lawrence

ArchitectPeter has been an Architect and Urban Design over 25 years, working in a range of sectors before specialising in large scale residential development.
For the last 16 years Peter has worked in-house for developers Bovis, Countryside and Vistry – managing a team responsible for in-house planning applications and latterly coordinating external consultants in larger 200-1000 dwelling, multi-tenure, multi-range schemes.
In spare time Peter enjoys travel, fly fishing and golf.

Senior Landscape ArchitectChia Ling joins FINC as our new Senior Landscape Architect with over 10 years’ experience in residential and educational schemes around the UK as well as delivering public realm design projects in both the UK and the Middle East. Chia Ling has wide skill sets for delivering conceptual landscape design, detailed hard and soft planting design as well as supporting on LVIA deliverables. Chia Ling is a keen amateur photographer and enjoys capturing unique moments during her outdoor ventures and travels. She is also a passionate foodie who loves cooking and sharing various cuisines with family and friends.

Technical ManagerHaving worked on similar projects to FINC’s for the past decade, Jordan was an excellent fit for our team when he joined in 2017. Since then he has busied himself with the production of technical information and details for some of our more bespoke projects.
Jordan enjoys golf with his friends and family and is a hardcore Manchester United supporter. He also is a keen casual footwear and record vinyl collector.

Chelsea brings her diverse multitasking skillset, to accompany her passion and hard working traits to assist the Design team at the company. She has really flourished at the company by being heavily involved in projects at the company and meeting clients expectations.
Chelsea is a big fan of rugby and goes to games with her partner... but she loves playing computer games and Apple Crumble!

Graphic DesignerSteve (Millsy) provides us with a dedicated, full-time internal resource to ensure the quality of our graphic work is maintained as the business grow. Millsy not only has excellent experience in producing coloured street scenes, masterplans and 3d perspectives... he also produces FINCTOONS! Any themed cartoon card or graphic you see on our social media is all done by his very talented hands!
Outside of work, Steve is a keen collector of movie memorabilia, limited edition figurines of his favourite movies and often partakes in Comic Con exhibitions. His creativity has no boundaries! His Favourite films include Back to the Future, Asterix & Obelix, Jurassic Park and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

He has just finished his RIBA part 2 studies at London Southbank University and will look to complete my part 3 studies in the future. James will be looking to grow at FINC in developing his knowledge and experience within the planning team. He is a "massive" West Ham fan and has a season ticket. Mr Cook loves to travel to different countries and experience new cities - just like his namesake!

Jonty is currently undertaking his Part 2 studies, with plans to carry on completing his Part 3 in the future. Having grown up in Dubai and coming from a Spanish family, Eduardo enjoys travelling to various countries. In his spare time, he is a keen rugby player as well as a pianist with a great taste in music.
