Phase 2, Matthew’s Green Farm, Wokingham
The development at Matthews Green Farm, Wokingham comprises 760 dwellings with both houses and apartments, a 60-bed retirement home, a 1.5 form entry school, retail units and associated landscaping/parks.
We undertook the planning application for Phase 2 in 2016. The site comprised 82 dwellings, including two 12 unit apartments and 58 houses.
This phase of the development faces onto the main site access and the school site. This resulted in two focal apartment buildings being located on the site frontage.
The phase is predominantly contemporary, with flat-roofed apartments and minimalist detailing on the houses.
Following a successful approval, FINC were instructed to provide the working drawings for this phase, which is now under construction with a completion date in 2019.
